Motiya, a community dog from Ghatkopar West, was struggling in silence. Every day, Shweta—a dedicated member of Garudadhwaj Foundation—feeds numerous dogs along her route from Ghatkopar to Vikhroli. One day, she noticed something alarming—Motiya’s ear was infested with maggots, causing him immense pain.
Desperate to help, she reached out to several NGOs, but no one responded. With nowhere else to turn, she contacted Garudadhwaj Foundation. Without hesitation, the GDF team sprang into action, ensuring Motiya was safely transported to Farida Shelter, where he received the urgent medical care he needed.
